The Cadence Club
also known as
CC or The Friends of Grand Pacer Marching Band and Guard,
is a not-for-profit band booster club operated exclusively
for charitable and educational purposes.
MISSION - Our simple, worthy mission is to encourage, promote and support the efforts of all Hayes and Dempsey Band programs.
SUCCESS - The success of any organization depends on the spirit, pride, leadership, teamwork, dedication and cooperation of its members. Cadence Club members take pride in helping the band be the best that it can be. Activities are fun, rewarding and easy to do. Members benefit in many ways, most importantly, by helping to create a fantastic music education experience for the students and by helping to keep band fees low. Volunteers manage numerous behind the scenes activities and raise money to supplement the cost of a quality marching band program.
INVOLVEMENT - Parents of all students in the Hayes and Dempsey band programs are members of Cadence Club. All parents and families are encouraged to be involved in their students' marching band experience through service and/or fundraising. Cadence Club participates in 25 events in 6 unique service areas and 33 fundraising events. Marching band season (May - November) is busiest with 10 football games, 6 contests, 4 parades and a variety of other events. Any level of participation is appreciated!
