School is off to a great start! We are very excited to be back!
As a reminder, after school rehearsals are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-5:30. Please be sure to have clothes that you can march and move in for these rehearsals! Failure to bring the required materials will negatively impact your grade.
New information has been added to the band calendar! Information for the Horse Parade and for Tag Day has been posted. Contest locations for all TBA events has also been added!
Tuesday Sheets will start coming out next week. Tuesday Sheets will be the source of info for upcoming band events. They will contain the logistics of our competitions/football games, reminders about upcoming band events, and other important info pertaining to that week. Please continue to check both the updates page and Cadence Club page of the website for information on the band!

Hello Grand Pacer Marching Band and Guard Families!
As many of you know, the concession stand at Crew Stadium provides significant fundraising dollars to the band and guard.
There is an opportunity to help with some upcoming events even if you haven’t been able to yet! Good opportunity for incoming Freshmen parents too!!
Yes, there will be an alcohol training session on 8/22! This training session will start promptly at 6:30 PM and you will not be allowed to enter after that time. Training is at Crew Stadium and we will provide directions and details. You must attend one of these sessions to sell alcohol in the stadium; you will learn about the laws and Crew Stadium policies. Please let us know by 8/19 if you would like to be signed up; we have to let Sodexo know who is attending.
We need to get some more of our group alcohol trained because….
On 9/10/2013, there is a World Cup game at the stadium! US vs Mexico! The stadium is sold out which means there is an opportunity to earn a nice bit of money for our efforts if we get enough people to run our stand. We need 2 in the kitchen, 12 alcohol trained for the registers and 8 – 10 runners to help fill orders. Many times, the band members help out as runners but they will not be available for this game.
So, please let us know if you can help out at the game, if you would like to attend the alcohol training or if you have any questions.

10/27 – Crew at 4:00 (Sunday)
